How do I train in Playback Theatre?
London Playback is currently running a Introduction to Playback Theatre course (April-June 2024), and intends to run a second course in the Autumn of 2024. Please join our mailing list to hear when this training is announced.

How do I join the company?
We do ask that anyone applying to join the company has already undertaken core training in Playback, or has more than 6 months experience in another Playback theatre company.
If you ask to join, we will invite you to an open rehearsal where we can meet you, play together and get a feel for how you work. If both you and us feel there is good synergy, we will invite you to join us for 6 months as a member in training. Even if you are an experienced playbacker, this is an important stage for you and the company in learning to play well together, and discovering London Playback’s rituals and forms.
After 6 months we will review together whether you would like to become a full company member.
